A public policy and media veteran with over 27 years of experience across global venture capital, technology and media companies. Shweta heads the Startup Policy Forum. She has led public policy teams in Asia for Peak XV, Sequoia Capital India, Salesforce and Uber. She has worked closely with founders, government officials and regulators to champion key issues within the startup ecosystem. An award-winning journalist, Shweta provided in-depth coverage of India’s economic policy-making landscape during her media career.
Avantika leads policy advocacy at SPF, focusing on government and member engagement. She focusses on solving policy challenges and building proactive policy programs for our member community. A seasoned public policy and media professional, Avantika led public policy at Razorpay and federal affairs at Uber India. Formerly a journalist with Bloomberg TV India, she holds a Master’s in Public Policy from the National Law School of India.
Shubhangi drives high-impact collaborations and partnerships, creating engagement platforms for our members with diverse global stakeholders. She helps build bridges across startups, investors, think-tanks, global institutions and thought leaders. With prior experience of driving Strategic Partnerships at the World Economic Forum, Geneva, she is now focused on amplifying the voice and impact of India’s innovation ecosystem on a global stage.
